I am a free-lance philosopher living in Washington, DC. Moral and political philosophy are my main interests; I also have some training in public policy (with a focus on international development). Currently, I’m in the midst of a two-year Presidential Management Fellowship, with an appointment as a management analyst at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. (Through the end of summer 2011, I’m actually on a ‘developmental assignment’ as an International Affairs & Trade Analyst at the Government Accountability Office (GAO) — an exciting gig.) I’m also a Research Associate in the philosophy department at the University of Maryland, where I did my graduate studies.
